Arizona
I was planning on adding my Arizona photos to a future travel page but Arizona is so special it deserves its own page. Obviously photos can’t do it justice but if there is anyone who shoots Arizona well, Arizona Highways Magazine is simply the best and as good as it gets! Check them out here and definitely consider subscribing. The articles are always a good read and the photography is spectacular!
Marble Canyon, Arizona – This viewpoint just off the roadway is one of my favorites. The kind of spot you simply cannot drive by without stopping. Most people would likely want their vacations to be filled with touristy activities, restaurants, hotels, pools, shopping, etc., I would much rather pack for the day and just sit on the rocks looking at this view morning until night.
Cameron, Arizona – Cameron is another one of my favorite places in Arizona. Cameron Trading Post is a must stop. You could spend the entire day in the gift shop alone. There are thousands of pieces of unique art and locally hand crafted items. During one of my visits I spoke with a couple of the local staff members at the gift shop and they were kind enough to share some of their family history which I found extremely fascinating! The restaurant has incredible American, Mexican and local food and you won’t believe the view from the huge dining room windows. The Grand Canyon Motel in Cameron is definitely on my to do list for future adventures. I’ve added a link below.
